Trumpers Show up at Pro-Biden and Prove they are A$$holes

I have lived all over the United States in all types of conditions: poor, wealthy, multi-cultural, and even in a majority of Black Americans. Not once did I ever research to find out the political leanings of an area, but that has all changed now. I live in a red town in a red county, and while there are many of us that support Biden/Harris, and expected the standard push back, there is nothing that says “trumpers are a$$holes” like taking a stand on a street that has a majority of Democrats.

Every Friday the red hats gather on their corner at one particular location with their signs and flags. They seem to have a lot of guys with large trucks revving engines as if this is an example of their manhood. No one from the Biden/Harris camp shows up or bothers them. The same cannot be said for the Saturday showing of the Biden/Harris situation. On that day, the trumpers show up in gangs and deliberately try to start trouble.

All of the Biden supporters have been warned to not engage the trumpers. They stomp behind us yelling and screaming at us, calling us morons, stupid, and baby killers. When that doesn’t work, they get next to us and scream loudly in our ears. We move away. They have one or two guys running around yelling “take off your mask bitch” and another young guy walking behind all of the Biden/Harris supporters repeating the same insults over and over.

Across the street they have a few trump supporters with bull horns — yelling their insults and cheering when a truck keeps driving by letting out disgusting black smoke at all of us. We laugh at them, ignore them, and at one point when one guy started threatening, we were forced to call the police. To put this in perspective, there were about 40 Biden/Harris supporters and about 11 trumpers. When the police arrived most of the trumpers headed across the street.

The police said that they would hang around as long as possible to help to ensure our safety, but would have to leave if they were called out on an emergency. All of us totally understood.

For those that keep repeating that “both sides are the same” OR for those that say “yeah, the Democrats did that as well” — this is the third gathering I have experienced this year and it’s..
