How Long Before Trump-Motivated Violence Ends in Blood Shed?

MAGA cultists’ violent protests will end badly

In his book, “The Threat,” former FBI Director Andrew McCabe says that people who work in counterintelligence are always on edge. They know they always have to be right, and if they slip up once, people die. All it takes is for one error, one oversight and you have a 9/11 on your hands. And that’s what I think about when I look at ex-President Donald Trump’s attempts to incite violence against his enemies.

An army of violent cultists

The MAGA cult has been activated to seek vengeance against anyone who has wronged their Messiah. This group has been brainwashed by right-wing media and the Trump administration and are primed for violence. A recent Twitter post from the Arizona Republican Party, called on people to “die for Trump.” Trump, a master of projection, has managed to convince his followers that Democrats staged a coup when he’s the one trying to install a government against the will of the people!

How long can this go on before one of these attacks gets through? What happens when an armed homeowner confronts armed Trumpists and the incident spirals out of control.

Just look at these examples.

  • Earlier this year, militia members, following Trump’s direction, stormed the Michigan Capitol. But then they escalated that action by organizing a deranged plot to kidnap and rape Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. They also plan to execute her on live TV.
  • Several elected Republican officials in Georgia have received death threats after refusing to bend the election rules to give Trump a victory. Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensberger said his wife had been threatened with sexual violence. “Stop inspiring people to commit potential acts of violence,” said Georgia election official Gabriel Sterling. “Someone is going to get shot, someone is going to get killed. And it’s not right.”
  • Michigan State Rep. Cynthia Johnson, who shot down Trump’s legal team’s nebulous election fraud accusations, was threatened with lynching and called the n-word.
